Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the location was brilliant and aptly located, offering easy access to shops and restaurants. However, the noise from the shops kept me up until 4 am, and the twin room I booked was dinghy with mildew in the bathroom.
The hotel is situated in a prime city center location, making it fantastic for shopping and exploring. The rooms were spacious with minor maintenance issues, allowing access to additional amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The dining experience offered a good selection but could use more variety. Overall, I can't fault this hotel and am eagerly anticipating my next stay.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The room was large, with a beautiful view of the Castle. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I couldn't have asked for more. However, the room wasn't serviced despite indicating the need on the door handle.
The hotel had some drawbacks with the rooms lacking a proper lounge area and the pool being small and overlooked a less appealing side of the property. The rooms appeared dated with stained carpets and chipped tiles. However, the quick check-in process and nice room helped balance things out for a pleasant stay.
The hotel room I stayed in was quite small, meant for two guests but not ideal for three as booked, and it felt a bit cramped for a stay longer than a couple of nights. However, the location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and convenient for our needs. The service, from reception to restaurant staff, was truly excellent and friendly. The dining experience was decent, with a good selection but a bit pricey for my liking. The facilities were good, although some areas could benefit from more investment and a deeper clean.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and spotless, with a nice king-size bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the disabled room had issues like a missing toilet seat and black mold in the shower grout. Despite these drawbacks, it was a pleasant experience overall.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had nice views over the castle, but some were dinghy with mildew in the bathroom. The service was efficient and extremely helpful, though I couldn't recall the staff's names from my stay. The location was excellent for shopping but not ideal for relaxation. The dining had some issues, like difficult-to-open food heaters, and the price was a bit high for the quality received.
The hotel's rooms were not very clean with dust and food residues, but they were spacious and had a nice bathtub, which is a rare find in modern hotels. Despite some noise issues, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring Cardiff, just a short walk to the castle and city center. The dining experience was good overall, with a variety of choices and recent improvements to the breakfast service.
The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the city center and surrounding areas, although some areas could use a bit more attention to detail. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff willing to address any issues promptly. The dining options were varied, though some items were not available, and the facilities provided a comfortable stay despite minor drawbacks.
